Fluorite is calcium fluoride in mineral form, belonging to the halide group of minerals. It is also known as “fluorspar,” especially in industrial or chemical settings. It has ornamental uses, but it has also been used for smelting (as a flux), in the manufacture of hydrofluoric acid, and in the production of glasses, enamels, telescopes, microscopes and fluorite optics. Fluorite comes in a range of brilliant colors and exhibits an isometric crystal system, a Moh's scale hardness of 4, a brittle tenacity, and is transparent to translucent. Some fluorite extracted from certain locations contains special impurities that make it fluorescent, giving rise to the term “fluorescence” in 1852. It is widely occurring and commonly found in large deposits. Noteworthy localities include Germany, China, Austria, Norway, Mexico, Austria, Switzerland, and Canada, but it is found in other places as well.
On a metaphysical level, fluorite stabilizes and cleanses the aura of those who keep it near or wear it. It is said to neutralize and absorb stress and negative energies and ground any excess energies. It would make a great gift for a loved one who is a student because it is also believed to make a wonderful learning aid. It is claimed to improve decision making skills, concentration and self-confidence of those in its vicinity. In addition, this crystal may boost physical and mental coordination and balance, generate positivity, and balance one’s energies. It is becoming increasingly popular among New Age enthusiasts and is sometimes paired with other stones from collections in order to “open the path” for them to become more effective (or amplify their effects). This can work especially well if one’s goal is to attain truth, peace, and spiritual development and wholeness. It is also commonly used during meditation as a channeling aid, as it is believed to enhance connections to fairies, elves, nature spirits and others. If you wish to gain some insight from your past lives, it may also assist you in facilitating connection to the Akashic records. Fluorite is considered to be a useful healing tool by crystal healers. It is said to repair DNA damage and benefit the cells, teeth and bones. Particularly in the form of an elixir, it may effectively fight viruses. It could aid the body while it is battling colds, sinusitis, and the flu, and it is believed to possess the ability to regenerate the mucus membranes and skin. Additionally, it has been used to provide pain relief, treat wounds and ulcers, remove wrinkles and blemishes, assist dental work, alleviate rheumatism, arthritis, and spinal injuries, boost the libido, enhance memory, ease chronic insomnia, and more.

Infinite stone is a type of green serpentine: a mixture of serpentine and chrysotile. Found in South Africa, this stone is considered to be one of the most powerful in its group. Green serpentine, from which it is derived, gets its name from its green color and slightly snake-like appearance. Chrysotile, the other “parent” of infinite, is more of a beige color. You can imagine how the combination of these two stones results in the light, calming green color of infinite stone.
Regarded as more powerful than other serpentine stones, Infinite stone has become what is considered a healer’s stone. No one doubts the importance and influence your auric field has and infinite stone is thought to help change this field. Along with changing this field, the stone is thought to help increase the power of Reiki and other energetic healing methods. Kundalini energy is thought, also, to be activated by this powerful stone. On top of all of these healing properties, this stone may provide a nurturing energy from the base chakra to the heart. This stone is also known to increase the connection to the angelic realms. Infinite is thought to be a great worry stone. This particular stone may help with decreasing negative thoughts and actions and relieving its user of stress and pain. Infinite may aid those who struggle to have restful sleep when it is placed under their pillows before bed. When you combine the energetic healing methods, restructuring of the auric field, removal of emotional issues, help with sleep, and assistance in bolstering your connection to the angelic realms, it is clear that the powers of infinite can benefit almost anyone in some area of life. Emotional and mental stress are not the only things that may be alleviated by using Infinite—physical issues may also be aided by this stone. Fatigue, joint pain, connective tissue damage, and ordinary daily body pains may be soothed in the presence of this stone. Aside from its observed healing powers, it isn’t hard to see how the previously mentioned effects of the stone would help with physical healing of the body. Restful sleep, stress reduction, and a better outlook due to the easing of emotional trauma will also clearly help to keep physical issues at bay. This amazing stone works in a myriad of ways to promote whole body health. These aren’t even all of the attributes that this derivative of serpentine possesses. The stone may help to aid in cellular regeneration. Most of the physical damage to your body comes in the form of cells being injured or destroyed, and this stone may actually serve as an ally to your body’s natural ability to regenerate these damaged cells. In so many ways, infinite is regarded and sought after as a nearly perfect healing stone among crystal healers. Variscite is a beautiful yellow-green to deep green to blue-green material that often has interesting matrix similar to turquoise. Some people have confused it with turquoise, but it is generally softer and has a lower specific gravity. It is often cut into cabochons and small sculptures. It is soft, with a hardness of only 4.5 on the Mohs Scale.
Variscite is an aluminum phosphate mineral that is found in a few locations in Utah. It is a secondary mineral found as nodules, fractures, and other cavity fillings, often in igneous rock. Important Utah localities are near the communities of Lucin and Fairfield. Cradle of Humankind crystals are a type of limestone or chert that comes from caves in South Africa. These caves are where the first hominid fossils were found, and they relate to some of the earliest ancestors of modern man, as they are around seven million years old.
These crystal stones have a strong grounding energy that will help you to make a connection to mother Gaia, via the earth chakra. They have a soothing vibration, and they make you feel that all is well in your life. They may aid you to discover information about past lives in ancient times, and help you to understand how that relates to your current life, and perhaps what your purpose is in being born at this time. Let's get to know me a little better by having some fun Ghostober Q&A!
1) Have you ever seen a ghost? A: Yes. My first memory of seeing a ghost is so vivid it is like it happened yesterday. I was staying the night at my cousin’s house & woke up as the sun was breaking. I remember trying to figure out why I had woken up. As I was laying there on the top bunkbed I felt the need to look over to my right. That was when I seen the old lady sitting in the chair. She was transparent but I could still see her somehow. She had no facial expression- she was just simply sitting there looking out the window. I remember thinking “I’m just seeing things” & “If I hide under my covers it will go away”. So that’s what I did. I waited a few minutes. Then I slowly peeled the covers back and to my horror she was still sitting there. I don’t remember ever being “that” terrified! I got back under the covers & stayed there, all the while thinking I was going to suffocate, and waited until I heard my cousin moving around below me. I looked back over and the old lady was gone. Total relief. One night my mother & I stayed the night in the basement of my Grandma’s house. Again, I had woken up in what seemed to be the middle of the night. My Mother was still sleeping. I looked over towards the kitchen area & seen two red glowing eyes. Panicking I rapidly thought maybe it was lights from a kitchen appliance. “Right next to each other?” I questioned myself. I don’t remember ever seeing that. The eyes were kind of floating or slightly moving around. It was pretty terrifying but I managed to go back to sleep because I figured I shouldn’t worry because my Mom would protect me. When I woke up that morning I went into the kitchen to check and there were no red lights anywhere. I also consistently see things out of the corner of my eye(s). There have been plenty of times where I could sware that there was someone there but could never find them. I’ve also seen animals that were not really there. 2) Have you ever directly communicated with a ghost? A: Yes. For this topic I would like to refer to them as spirits. The word “ghost” seems to imply something scary & a vast majority that I communicate with are not scary. One memory I have is when I was able to communicate with my Aunt. She had recently passed away a couple months prior. It was very hard on me. Every night when I would pray I would also talk to her & tell her things I’d always wanted to tell her. After many nights of doing this, one night I decided to hold my vogel wand. For those of you who do not know what this is- it is a wand that has been polished into a specific shape (multi-sided) so that when a frequency travels thru it- it hits each side becoming more powerful as it goes. The more sides the more powerful the energy becomes. As I began to imagine talking to her I was interrupted suddenly. Before when I would do this it was always a one-way conversation but this time was different. I could actually hear her. When I heard her voice the tears started to stream down my face. She had told me that she has heard all of my prayers to her & other things that were incredibly important to me. Afterwards all I could do was cry. I was so incredibly happy for being able to communicate with her but so sad that she wasn’t still here with us. I’ve noticed that when I’m able to communicate with spirits I often become very emotional in some form. Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish whether they’re my feelings or not & I often forget a lot of what was said. To this day I feel that holding the vogel wand is the reason why I could hear her. Another time I was able to do this is when I stayed the night at The Lemp Mansion. I was kinda in my ghost-hunting phase & just wanted to see what it was like (this changed somewhat by the end of my stay). The weirdest part of the story is that 2 weeks before our trip there I had a dream that their whole family took me under one of the buildings into a cave and showed me a swimming pool. They seemed to be happy together. Like they were just showing me around. To me it was pretty evident that there were spirits there. I could just feel it. When I was trying to sleep I kept waking up as if something or someone was waking me up. I would also hear people going up & down the hall, being so incredibly loud, trying to get into our room. It was then that I realized I actually felt bad for the spirits there. Would I want a bunch of yahoo’s wondering up & down the halls all night long?! I then mentally communicated that if there were any spirits in the house that needed refuge from these annoying people they could come into our room as long as they were nice. After falling asleep & waking up quite a few times I then sensed a very strong energy. I felt the energy was that of a younger male. He told me that they used to travel a lot & some of the architectural details in the house were inspired from these travels. He was very nice but a very powerful energy. There seemed to be room for only him in my head! 3) Are there any other ways you can communicate with spirits? A: Yes, I have clairolfaction which is having the ability to smell energy. I’ve always had a super-sense of smell & this is something that has developed over time. I’ve smelled my deceased dog whom I miss every single day. I’ve smelled my grandma, aunt, cigar smoke, putrid smells, you name it. Some are actual smells that no one else can smell or a sense of smell more in my mind. When I have clairolfaction my brain automatically registers & knows what the smell is. 1) Find a comfortable place to lay down. I wouldn’t suggest sitting up as I’m not sure how in control one is over their body while outside of it. I am also not sure if you can project backwards going thru the spinal column. To me it seems like there would be too much electrical interference.
2) Get comfortable. And I mean the type of comfortable where “you don’t ever want to get up” comfortable. This is extremely important. No muscles should be being used. You won’t be able to let go if you’re not totally relaxed. I don’t think I can stress this enough. If it helps you could do a mental exercise where you start from the feet, relaxing each muscle, working your way up to your head until all muscles are relaxed. 3) Go to your happy place. The place that always makes you smile & feel like everything’s perfect. For me, this is my great grandma’s house that I frequently visited as a child. Try to use all of your senses while visualizing this special place. See, feel, smell it. The goal here is to get your mindset in a good place. 4) Now it’s time for the mental exercise that will hopefully lift you up & out. You can do any mental exercise you wish as long as it involves you seeing yourself going upward out of your body. I will give you the exercise I do as an example. I visualize my soul coming out of my body and then looking down at my physical body. From here I go upwards -up thru the roof of my house. I look down & see the top of my house. I then start to fly upward again. I picture going thru the clouds as I’m flying & feel the wind on my face. I pause and look back to see the outline of my state. I then fly up some more. I again look back & see the U.S. Going further up, looking back to see Mother Earth. Now I start flying very fast. I visualize flying thru space & the stars. I fly right up to my visualization of what heaven looks like. Now, for every person this is different. If you’re going to try this exercise, make sure you visualize Heaven the way you believe it to look like. My Heaven is on a cloud-like formation with large pillars & a bright light. Somewhat reminiscent of the train station that Harry Potter went to after he died where he was greeted by Dumbledore (Just had to throw that in there lol). While I’m up there I often say my thoughts & prayers to God. Then when I feel like I’m finished I just leap off the cloud & start flying back down. I visualize what it would be like a plane coming in for a landing. I see the earth, flying down till I see my State, then coming in closer to see the top of my house & then I see my body which I gently come back into. It’s important to make sure you see yourself coming back down into your body. If you do project yourself you want to be able to get back in there! I did this exercise probably about 8 or 10 times before I actually did it so don’t get frustrated when it doesn’t happen the first or second time you try it. It might take quite a few tries. A couple signs to look for that it might be beginning to happen are experiencing a tingling sensation all over your body with a feeling of becoming lighter. If you feel this relax & let go. If you do project yourself try not to be scared. For me it was frightening as I was not anticipating that to happen. Enjoy the moments you have during this period. They may not last long as mine only lasted a couple minutes. It’s important not to become freaked out. I’ve heard of people getting “stuck” because they were in a panic. I myself did not have a hard time going back into the body. Just relax & enjoy! If you or someone you know has experienced astral projection feel free to leave any comments. The beauty I see in this stone has been calling me for a couple weeks now. I had no idea that it was going to throw me for a loop! As soon as I started meditating with it, it sent me to a place of nowhere. I had a hard time trying to get my dedication of the stone out because I just couldn’t think. The words were not coming to me. I kept finding myself in this state of nothingness. It sort of felt like someone threw a cloak over me. It was a highly unusual experience & no other stone had ever had this effect on me. I felt like this stone would be great for journeying to places where you might not want to be noticed. The next night I worked with a Lemurian and the next morning I was drained of all of my energy. It took me all day to recuperate. To this day I do not know if the Arfvedsonite, Lemurian, or both that caused this. I have found that if a stone has a negative effect on you that it’s best to stay away from it for a little while and then try to work with it again. I do look forward to working more with this stone.
This is a stone I have been obsessed with lately! Pietersite is absolutely stunning to look at & reminds me of Mother Earth. I had such a wonderful experience with this stone. While meditating with it I could feel it immediately connect to my heart chakra that produced a very warm blissful CALMING sensation in my chest. I could feel the sensation then go upwards to my crown & also downwards to my sacral chakra. I could feel the calm coming over my stomach & lower abdominal area. I myself have a sensitive stomach since I am an overly-anxious individual so this felt absolutely AMAZING. As a whole it felt as if my chakras were all aligning. I imagine if I would have been doing this outside & had grounded my feet the experience would have been extraordinary. My third eye & crown chakra then started to pulsate. Physically I actually felt my sinus cavity open! It felt so wonderful! I had such clear easy breathing.
My conclusion from my experience with Pietersite is that it would be the perfect stone for those who suffer from anxiety & sinus issues. Also, great for anyone who feels that they need a chakra alignment. |
