This listing is for 1 tumbled Bronzite stone
The size of these stones are approx. 1 1/4"
Bronzite belongs to the orthorhombic series of the pyroxene group of minerals, along with hypersthene and enstatite. In fact, it is a ferriferous type of enstatite as opposed to a distinct species. Its cleavage surfaces sport a bronze-like sub metallic luster due to partial alteration, but bronzite may be brown or green in coloration, flecked with bits of pyrite that sometimes make it resemble cat's eye. It exhibits a hardness of 5.5-6 on the Mohs scale and a specific gravity of 3.3-3.4, depending on the iron content of the particular specimen. Sometimes bronzite is cut and then polished for the purpose of making little ornamental objects (normally in convex form), but this is more commonly done with hypersthene. This mineral is common and may be found in locations such as Brazil, Australia, China, Canada, England, Austria, Greenland, Norway, Labrador, India, the United States and South Africa. It is a component of gabbro, norite, peridotite and many other mafic to ultramafic igneous rocks, as well as of the serpentinites. It also sometimes occurs in crystalline schist, and is a known component of meteorites.
In the metaphysical world, bronzite is sometimes referred to as the “stone of courtesy” or the “stone of focused action,” as it is believed to instill politeness in the people around us and encourage control and certainty, helping us to figure out what we desire in our lives and to take control of our actions. Bronzite also serves as an excellent grounding and protective stone. Wearing it in the form of jewelry, meditating with it and/or keeping it near may help to alleviate nervous energy stemming from new situations, enhance creativity, dispel negativity (or even return it to its sender), clear confusion, and allow us to be more objective by helping us to step back and see the “bigger picture.” In a nutshell, it can be the most useful in situations where we feel overwhelmed and powerless, in that its influence is claimed to restore self confidence and harmony, increase self esteem, alleviate doubt and indecision, and more. With bronzite as our companion, we may discover the courage needed to take the next necessary path in our lives. This mineral resonates with all chakras, but particularly the sacral and base chakras. It is associated with the astrological sign of leo, the planet Venus, and the element of earth. Its numerical vibration is 1.
Bronzite provides many useful physical healing benefits in addition to the aforementioned metaphysical properties. For example, crystal healers often use it to warm the extremities, lessen muscular tension, ease stress, address chronic exhaustion, promote proper health and functioning of the kidneys, aid the digestive system, improve iron assimilation and duration, balance the body's pH, and dispel restlessness due to ailments of a psycho-physical or emotional nature. In general, keeping it in close proximity with the human body is believed to help the body with normal cycle transformations.
