According to thecolorsofindia.com the word “Namaste” has been derived from two Sanskrit words 'nama' meaning to bow and 'te' meaning you. It is a beautiful way of greeting people in India. Namaste is basically a way of saying hello & is wished by folding the palms together resembling the prayer position. While saying Namaste, the folded hands are usually kept close to the heart, thus indicating that I am glad to meet you and I am saying this from heart. Namaste is a gesture of saying that "I honor the Spirit in you which is also in me." It is a way of expressing that you and I are equal.
As one of my favorites this candle would be perfect for any sacred space. Patchouli, Myrrh, Frankincense, Sandalwood, & Palo Santo help promote a relaxing and meditative environment. My Namaste candle is made from organic beeswax & features a wooden wick that produces a quaint, relaxing crackle. Beeswax candles are wonderful & are said to release negative ions that help purify the air, increase oxygen to the brain, & help alleviate depression. There is nothing artificial in these candles! Labradorite is said to be a protective stone that keeps the aura clear & helps provide clarity while sodalite can also help promote rational mental processes & manifest fellowship within a group. Upon lighting this candle you set your intention while these crystals help to amplify it. Your intentions are then sent out into the universe to help you create a sacred space to truly honor yourself or others.
All crystals will be cleansed & charged before being placed in the candle. Included will be an instruction card on how to easily remove the crystals from the candle. The crystals for this candle are approx. 3/4”- 1” in size – with one Sodalite & one Labradorite - totaling 2 stones in each candle.
