Let's get to know me a little better by having some fun Ghostober Q&A!
1) Have you ever seen a ghost? A: Yes. My first memory of seeing a ghost is so vivid it is like it happened yesterday. I was staying the night at my cousin’s house & woke up as the sun was breaking. I remember trying to figure out why I had woken up. As I was laying there on the top bunkbed I felt the need to look over to my right. That was when I seen the old lady sitting in the chair. She was transparent but I could still see her somehow. She had no facial expression- she was just simply sitting there looking out the window. I remember thinking “I’m just seeing things” & “If I hide under my covers it will go away”. So that’s what I did. I waited a few minutes. Then I slowly peeled the covers back and to my horror she was still sitting there. I don’t remember ever being “that” terrified! I got back under the covers & stayed there, all the while thinking I was going to suffocate, and waited until I heard my cousin moving around below me. I looked back over and the old lady was gone. Total relief. One night my mother & I stayed the night in the basement of my Grandma’s house. Again, I had woken up in what seemed to be the middle of the night. My Mother was still sleeping. I looked over towards the kitchen area & seen two red glowing eyes. Panicking I rapidly thought maybe it was lights from a kitchen appliance. “Right next to each other?” I questioned myself. I don’t remember ever seeing that. The eyes were kind of floating or slightly moving around. It was pretty terrifying but I managed to go back to sleep because I figured I shouldn’t worry because my Mom would protect me. When I woke up that morning I went into the kitchen to check and there were no red lights anywhere. I also consistently see things out of the corner of my eye(s). There have been plenty of times where I could sware that there was someone there but could never find them. I’ve also seen animals that were not really there. 2) Have you ever directly communicated with a ghost? A: Yes. For this topic I would like to refer to them as spirits. The word “ghost” seems to imply something scary & a vast majority that I communicate with are not scary. One memory I have is when I was able to communicate with my Aunt. She had recently passed away a couple months prior. It was very hard on me. Every night when I would pray I would also talk to her & tell her things I’d always wanted to tell her. After many nights of doing this, one night I decided to hold my vogel wand. For those of you who do not know what this is- it is a wand that has been polished into a specific shape (multi-sided) so that when a frequency travels thru it- it hits each side becoming more powerful as it goes. The more sides the more powerful the energy becomes. As I began to imagine talking to her I was interrupted suddenly. Before when I would do this it was always a one-way conversation but this time was different. I could actually hear her. When I heard her voice the tears started to stream down my face. She had told me that she has heard all of my prayers to her & other things that were incredibly important to me. Afterwards all I could do was cry. I was so incredibly happy for being able to communicate with her but so sad that she wasn’t still here with us. I’ve noticed that when I’m able to communicate with spirits I often become very emotional in some form. Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish whether they’re my feelings or not & I often forget a lot of what was said. To this day I feel that holding the vogel wand is the reason why I could hear her. Another time I was able to do this is when I stayed the night at The Lemp Mansion. I was kinda in my ghost-hunting phase & just wanted to see what it was like (this changed somewhat by the end of my stay). The weirdest part of the story is that 2 weeks before our trip there I had a dream that their whole family took me under one of the buildings into a cave and showed me a swimming pool. They seemed to be happy together. Like they were just showing me around. To me it was pretty evident that there were spirits there. I could just feel it. When I was trying to sleep I kept waking up as if something or someone was waking me up. I would also hear people going up & down the hall, being so incredibly loud, trying to get into our room. It was then that I realized I actually felt bad for the spirits there. Would I want a bunch of yahoo’s wondering up & down the halls all night long?! I then mentally communicated that if there were any spirits in the house that needed refuge from these annoying people they could come into our room as long as they were nice. After falling asleep & waking up quite a few times I then sensed a very strong energy. I felt the energy was that of a younger male. He told me that they used to travel a lot & some of the architectural details in the house were inspired from these travels. He was very nice but a very powerful energy. There seemed to be room for only him in my head! 3) Are there any other ways you can communicate with spirits? A: Yes, I have clairolfaction which is having the ability to smell energy. I’ve always had a super-sense of smell & this is something that has developed over time. I’ve smelled my deceased dog whom I miss every single day. I’ve smelled my grandma, aunt, cigar smoke, putrid smells, you name it. Some are actual smells that no one else can smell or a sense of smell more in my mind. When I have clairolfaction my brain automatically registers & knows what the smell is.

1) Find a comfortable place to lay down. I wouldn’t suggest sitting up as I’m not sure how in control one is over their body while outside of it. I am also not sure if you can project backwards going thru the spinal column. To me it seems like there would be too much electrical interference.
2) Get comfortable. And I mean the type of comfortable where “you don’t ever want to get up” comfortable. This is extremely important. No muscles should be being used. You won’t be able to let go if you’re not totally relaxed. I don’t think I can stress this enough. If it helps you could do a mental exercise where you start from the feet, relaxing each muscle, working your way up to your head until all muscles are relaxed. 3) Go to your happy place. The place that always makes you smile & feel like everything’s perfect. For me, this is my great grandma’s house that I frequently visited as a child. Try to use all of your senses while visualizing this special place. See, feel, smell it. The goal here is to get your mindset in a good place. 4) Now it’s time for the mental exercise that will hopefully lift you up & out. You can do any mental exercise you wish as long as it involves you seeing yourself going upward out of your body. I will give you the exercise I do as an example. I visualize my soul coming out of my body and then looking down at my physical body. From here I go upwards -up thru the roof of my house. I look down & see the top of my house. I then start to fly upward again. I picture going thru the clouds as I’m flying & feel the wind on my face. I pause and look back to see the outline of my state. I then fly up some more. I again look back & see the U.S. Going further up, looking back to see Mother Earth. Now I start flying very fast. I visualize flying thru space & the stars. I fly right up to my visualization of what heaven looks like. Now, for every person this is different. If you’re going to try this exercise, make sure you visualize Heaven the way you believe it to look like. My Heaven is on a cloud-like formation with large pillars & a bright light. Somewhat reminiscent of the train station that Harry Potter went to after he died where he was greeted by Dumbledore (Just had to throw that in there lol). While I’m up there I often say my thoughts & prayers to God. Then when I feel like I’m finished I just leap off the cloud & start flying back down. I visualize what it would be like a plane coming in for a landing. I see the earth, flying down till I see my State, then coming in closer to see the top of my house & then I see my body which I gently come back into. It’s important to make sure you see yourself coming back down into your body. If you do project yourself you want to be able to get back in there! I did this exercise probably about 8 or 10 times before I actually did it so don’t get frustrated when it doesn’t happen the first or second time you try it. It might take quite a few tries. A couple signs to look for that it might be beginning to happen are experiencing a tingling sensation all over your body with a feeling of becoming lighter. If you feel this relax & let go. If you do project yourself try not to be scared. For me it was frightening as I was not anticipating that to happen. Enjoy the moments you have during this period. They may not last long as mine only lasted a couple minutes. It’s important not to become freaked out. I’ve heard of people getting “stuck” because they were in a panic. I myself did not have a hard time going back into the body. Just relax & enjoy! If you or someone you know has experienced astral projection feel free to leave any comments. |
