Have you heard of sacred geometry? Have you ever heard or read about The Flower of Life? I am writing this article for those of you who haven’t dealt with this topic much & who would like to know more about it. I’m going to try to inform you the simplest way possible. Those of you who do know about sacred geometry- the topic can get a bit complicated. I will try not to overload you with information so let’s get started… Have you ever noticed the basic forms or shapes of things around you? Look around and try to count how many shapes you see. Have you noticed that these shapes are mostly symmetrical? Symmetrical means if you cut the object in half you would have a remaining half that is a copy of the other. And have you realized that if one side is not an exact copy of the other it is referred to as being “de-formed”? There are many shapes around us that we are normally too busy to notice. Just from the small count you did of shapes earlier you probably seen them repeating pretty much everywhere you looked. This is no coincidence. Geometric forms are the basis for how this physical world & everything around us is created. You can think of it as the formula for creating things. Everything- first and foremost- is made up of energy. Energy is composed of a frequency or vibration. You yourself have your own specific range of frequency with your body being the physical manifestation of it. In our world objects typically have 2 halves with a center axis that is used for energy exchange in which all living things require. Even though solid objects are solid they also fall in this category as their mass is having atoms vibrating together in a group as well. To present some evidence you can see what different frequencies create here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9GBf8y0lY0 Do you see the geometry it creates? Did you notice the higher the frequency the more complex the shape(s) that were created? Pretty awesome, right?! The whole premise is there was once a single point of source energy, our creator. From thought this source, symbolically represented as the center circle below, created a duality (male/female energy, yin yang, etc) and from then which sprung the universe & all the things you see around you were created. With each additional day of creation the symbol of “The Seed of Life” is formed. (Shown two dimensional) With Source Energy expanding outward even further with its creation additional circles are added to The Seed of Life. This symbol that is then created is called “The Egg of Life”. There are several interesting facts about this structure. First, it is the basis for music. The distances between the spheres are identical to the distances between the notes/tones & half-notes in music. Also, you may notice it looks remarkably like a cell. This stage of embryonic development was particularly important to the Egyptians as they believed this is when the embryo started to radiate electrical impulses thus drawing the soul into physical manifestation. Below is an art rendering of the different stages of cell division. This evidence shows how the human body is created by the same principles: This looks eerily similar to The Egg of Life doesn’t it? Both are the same concept just with one being three dimensional. If the Creator or Source Energy keeps expanding additional circles are added & this brings us to the sacred symbol of “The Flower of Life” (two dimensional view): The Flower of Life can be found in many different religions throughout the world. One of the earliest depictions of this symbol was found on a stone monument in an ancient Egyptian temple. The Flower of Life contains Metatron’s Cube as well as all of the Platonic Solids. The Platonic Solids are the building blocks of the universe (pictured bottom). Metatron’s Cube (two dimensional view) Platonic Solids (three dimensional view)
You see the Platonic Solids as the shapes you see all around you. The Flower of Life, which contains all of these symbols, is the most significant symbol of sacred geometry as it is a representation of Source Energy & how everything is inter-connected. Each circle contains that of the “whole” meaning we are all connected. Geometrically speaking you cannot build a structure and then try to take a piece out as it would fall apart. As all symbols stand for something, The Flower of Life is symbolic of creation. It depicts the fundamental forms of space & time, the Morphogenetic field. This field contains all that is and all that will be. When The Flower of Life is used it aligns one with whatever you’re using it for. In a later post I will describe to how you can tap into the Morphogenetic field by using this symbol with crystals to help you create & build the world around you.
